The Hotel Piacentino was founded in the late 19th century as a trattoria run by the Bellocchio family, in Piazza San Francesco, then bustling with travelers on the Piacenza-Genoa road.
Over the years, the trattoria became a restaurant, then a hotel, until it became one of Bobbio’s most iconic historic structures.
